someone help me??

I've been running a lot lately. Sunday morning I did 10 miles and towards the end my foot started hurting really bad. (so I walked)

Does anyone have suggestions for what to do?

The pain is on the bottom towards my heel....It's been two days and it hurts more today (tuesday) than it did on Sunday or Monday.

I stopped running since and have iced it every night. I try not to walk so much, but I need to get better to keep up my marathon training.

Someone help? please??

I don't know anything about running or hurting feet, but I'm praying for you. I hope you feel better soon and you can get back to training for that marathon! You rock!

You may have bruised your heel a little bit. It'd be good idea to ask someone from the Loppers about your injury. You may need new shoes. Go girl on your 10 miles! Glad you and getting some R&R at home.

Have you tried ice cream? That will make you feel better. And you should think about changing your background colors, I have a hard time reading your blog. It hurts my eyes. Then I have to go eat ice cream.

Dear Brit,,
I hope you're so good now,,As I'm an Orthopaedic Surgeon there is no needs for ice except in the 1st day of the contusion .According to your symptoms the diagnosis may be:
1- Over use contusions or,
2- Planter Fassiitis
so you have to do:
1- Rist your ankle for 2 weeks at least.
2- Move your foot up & down (planter flexsion & extension)for 5 minutes in both cold & warm water many times a day.
Drugs may help you:
R/ - Feldene gel 3 time a day
-Trypsin tabs (Alphentern?)Twice daily.
-Paracetamol tabs 3 times daily after mails .
All my bests to your Marathoon,,Untell I hear good news from uuuu ..

I think you should rest your foot/ankle until it feels better. You don't want to risk a bigger injury. Hang in there. Wish I was there to massage your foot=) Miss you girlie. You look fabulous!
